Since my Marketing Coordinator resigned, I have to do the field work myself for our school. Yesterday, I went to this barangay in Arevalo District in Iloilo City to offer a scholarship program to the community. It's a small community beside the Iloilo river near the old airport. I was able to speak with their barangay captain and he said that the place used to be huge farm land where they can plant rice. But since their barangay became a relocation site for the less fortunate Ilonggos years ago to give way for the "urbanization" of Iloilo City, the agricultural industry have since depreciated.
